Alida's Weekly Recap 8/28-9/3

Welcome September and Happy Labor Day weekend!  Hopefully you all get to enjoy a nice, long weekend.  With that in mind, I will keep this short, so you can continue relaxing, spending time with family and friends, cooking, or whatever it is you're doing this weekend.

Let's recap the week.  This past week I shared with you:

Rosemary Parmesan Dipping Oil

Quick and easy recipe for a tasty dipping oil and details about my experience with Crisco's olive oils.

Vegetable Quichetata with Roasted Garlic Hummus and Goat Cheese

A quiche/frittata hybrid made with Sabra hummus.

Peanut Butter Cup Blondies

Peanut butter, chocolate, peanut butter cups....all for under 200 calories per bar.  They're really easy to make too.  Dangerous!

Here are some recipes from other blogs that caught my eye:

Buckeye Cupcakes from Lolly's Sweet Treats - My beloved peanut butter and chocolate combination...these look fabulous!

Baked Honey-Dijon Chicken Tenders from Pink Parsley - Always looking for a quick and easy dinner that's tasty too.  These definitely will fit that bill.

Soft Frosted Sugar Cookies from Sing for Your Supper - These look just like those yummy cookies you'd get from a store, but better and so cute.

S'mores Bars from Dinner, Dishes and Desserts - Who doesn't love s'mores!  I certainly do, and I'm especially loving them in these bars.

Cranberry Oatmeal Bars from Eat Yourself Skinny - I'm exciting to see fall flavors popping up in treats of all kinds...especially healthier options, like these bars.  Yum!

That's all folks!  Enjoy the rest of your weekend, and I'll see you next week!
